Have you heard about the Manthey Racing Performance Kits?
Manthey-Racing is a prestigious company that was founded in 1996 by Olaf Manthey, and the current managing directors of the business are the brother's Martin and Nicolas Raeder, thus under their management, the company now employs more than 200 people, and is based in Meuspath near the Nürburgring.
The company has been responsible for running GT works competition for Porsche Motorsport since 2013, moreover, Porsche AG consolidated the successful collaboration that same year attaining a 51 percent majority stake, and has since been systematically expanding the cooperation.
Among other activities, they have been responsible for running the Porsche 911 RSR of the factory squad in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the 911 GT3 R “Grello” in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), as well as at the 24-hour races on the storied circuit in Germany’s Eifel region.
In June 2021, Porsche set a new lap record at the Nurburgring in a GT2 RS fitted with a Manthey Performance Kit, as Lars Kern completed the Nurburgring in just 6:43.300 making it to this day the fastest road-production car to ever go around the ‘Green Hell.’ After breaking the Nurburgring lap record, Lars Kern described the GT2 RS with the Manthey Performance Kit as “sticking to the track like glue.”
The Manthey Performance Kits are available to order at Porsche Centre Tonbridge for both the 991.2 generations of GT2 RS and GT3 RS, and on the latest 992 series of GT3, evoking the awe-inspiring performance of Porsche GT cars, and equipping them even further for differing road terrains and track days.
All the technology and expertise from the world of motorsport goes into the development of the performance kits, designed for track use, thus extensive testing and many laps on Manthey’s home track, the Nürburgring Nordschleife, are involved in the development process to ensure that the Manthey products provide the best possible performance. As well as focusing on the performance on the track, the developers also put emphasis on ensuring that the cars remain suitable for everyday use, enabling customers to make relaxed trips to track days in their GT3s.
The kit available on a GT2 boasts threaded suspension and an additional water tank, enabling drivers to adjust the suspension to make it as hard or soft as desired. Furthermore, the supplementary water tank for charge air cooling increases the standard volume by around 9 litres, allowing the air intake and air temperature to be cooler for longer durations, thus achieving maximum power yield.
Earlier this year, Manthey took on the challenge of increasing the performance of the 911 GT3 (992) model range, whereby the aerodynamics, suspension, brakes, and wheels have all been enhanced to thrust the car’s potential onto a new level. The development process was similar to that of the performance packages for the 991 GT3 RS and the 991 GT2 RS, furthermore, some of the remarkable components of the kit are a 4-way adjustable suspension kit, front lip/front splitter, braided brake line set, a brake upgrade kit along with an impressive Manthey OM-1 lightweight rim set, allowing for aero discs to be fitted on the rear axle, an exclusive feature of the GT3 performance kit.

For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
